Roger Goff III ~ Best Man
Howdy, Roger here~ I met the groom in first grade, which would be like 1997. (shock emoji) (new grey hair emoji) I owe a lot of my career endeavors and hobbies to the good fortune of meeting Nick early in life… Although I never did get into reading a dictionary for recreation. I’m sure anyone who has met him would agree he’s a bit of a trendsetter. I’ve always been in awe of his gift of making anything that could be more complicated, more complicated. I’ve been studying theatre and filmmaking since middle school and moved to California in 2014 to further those pursuits. These days I enjoy gardening, bartending, coding, and helping indie projects become a reality. This is the first time I’ve been a best anything, let alone best man, so I’m beyond excited and happy to help share in celebration!
Emily Eigenheer ~ Maid of Honor
Hello! I'm Emily, the maid of honor and best friend of Rhiannon since our junior high biology class (circa 2014 or so). For 7 of the 12 years I've known Rhiannon, I have also had the pleasure of being friends with Nick, and the privilege to watch their romance blossom and grow into the legend it is today. While I am originally from Davis, CA, I now live in Burlington, VT with my two cats (Calliope and Little Man) and my partner in crime, Maxwell. A professional people-pleaser at heart and long-time customer service worker, I will be starting a double licensure M.A. in School and Mental Health Counseling at the University of Vermont this Fall. Outside of work, I can be found gallivanting the streets in search of adventure, gossiping to Rhiannon from 3000 miles away, and partaking in far too many hobbies to be financially healthy.
Aidan Ferrer ~ Groomsman
I'm Aidan, I've known Nick since 2016 and Rhiannon since 2018! Nick helped me get started with volunteering as a game announcer/master of ceremonies at robotics tournaments, and in turn I (along with Sophie and Andrew) helped get Rhiannon involved with volunteering at the tournaments too! I live in San Jose with my three lovely roommates, and I work at Notre Dame San Jose as a robotics coach (similar to Andrew). I spend most of my free time working through my pile of video games and play the Pokemon TCG as a sponsored player by a local card shop.
Aren Martinez ~ Bridesman
My name is Aren Martinez, from the Sacramento area. Me and the bride met in the fourth grade, probably playing tag or trading Silly Bands. And from there on we continued to get into all sorts of wacky shenanigans. Now I currently work as an EMT all around Northern California. My Spotify playlist can turn up a nursing home and a high school. My calendar never has anything written on it but I’m always busy. I love the outdoors but love to stay in and play video games. And I love a good yap session and the making or telling of a good story.
Allen Saakyan ~ Groomsman
I’m Allen Saakyan. From & currently live in Sioux Falls, SD. Nick and I lived on same floor in dorms freshman year of college. I lived in the Bay Area in the 2010s, so Nick and I did a lotta robotics and other fun stuff together, where I later met Rhiannon. I do a lotta weird shit. Synthesize consciousness with physics and AI. Hold healing space. Build regenerative community. Excited for wedding celebrations!
Devi Varma ~ Bridesmaid
I'm Devi! I'm from Davis, but originally from Kerala, India! I've known the bride since middle school and she's one of my closest friends and favorite people! I'm a dance teacher, I work in community mental health, and I'm going to therapy school!
Dan Kennedy ~ Groomsman
I'm Dan Kennedy. I lived on the same floor as Nick in the dorms freshman year. I think it's fair to say we bonded over Linux, atheism, and alcohol production among other things. I live in Minneapolis and for my day job I manage a global team of engineers creating custom software solutions for electric utilities.
Marissa Corral ~ Bridesmaid
I’m the bride's big sister and she’s been a joy to have as a little sister since 1999. Watching her grow up into this amazing woman who is just the kindest being ever is very awesome to experience. I work by day a line cook and by night I run around a dispensary doing everything besides officially run the place.
Devyn Keeney ~ Groomswoman
I'm Devyn Keeney, I live in Chicago and met Nick around 2016 through online robotics stuff and somehow continually got him to show up to events I hosted over the years. I make servers go brr in my day job and also play old time and irish fiddle in my free time.
Penny Turgen ~ Bridesmaid
I'm Penny! Rhiannon and I met 2 years ago when we worked together at Trader Joes and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Rhiannon is a ray of sunshine and I've been lucky enough to bask in her presence. I'm getting my bachelors degree in English Literature at Whittier college and I work at Trader Joes to this day.
J.T. Davies ~ Groomsman
I'm J.T., Nick and I go back to learning computer crimes together back in middle school. I currently work as a special education paraeducator in Minneapolis, but I've got a background in computer science, math, and public policy. This photograph is a bit old but the upside of being in your late twenties/early thirties is that you don't look all that different in photographs for a while.

I’m Ryan. The bride and I have known each other for nearly 20 years (she’s old. I’m not.). I perform and teach music and poetry in Monterey and I’m the proud parent of the worlds coolest dog and the bride's nephew.

I'm Leslea Strauss, I live in Milwaukee, WI and have known the groom since 2005! We met through school and bonded over PC games, four square, dodgeball, and Latin. I am a high school science teacher, and I love to sing, hang out with my two orange cats, and cook!

I'm Sophia, an aerospace engineer and pilot who has been lucky to have Rhiannon as one of my best friends since kindergarten! She's always been there for me and I am so excited to be there for her to celebrate her and Nick's special day!

I'm Andrew - I've known Nick and Rhiannon for years through robotics and through my wife, Sophie, who first introduced me to Rhiannon back in 2018. I work in Engineering Education and spend my free time playing games and spending time with my cats (and my wife, sometimes).
